The wormhole network was exploited for 120k wETH
The wormhole was attacked from the Solana side of the bridge and the attacker minted 120,000 WETH on Solana......
A hack happened on the Wormhole token bridge from Solana's side of the bridge resulting in the loss of 120k Wrapped Ether (WETH) tokens from the platform whose value is around $320 million at the time of writing.
The Wormhole team assured the community that the lost ETH would be replaced in the bridge soon to ensure WETH and ETH backed 1 on 1.
